"You will never be completely home again, because part of your heart will always be somewhere else. That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place."

Melbourne

On saturday the big grey bird brought us from Brisbane, Queensland to Melbourne, Victoria. The flight was only one and a half hours. We arrived at midnight and went directly to bed when we arrived at our hostel.
The first thing we saw were the "Queen Victoria Markets". It's a big market with clothes, food and souvenirs.
Melbourne is not that big and so we walked everywhere.
The Federation Square is a nice place with interesting buildings. Right next to it is the St. Paul's Cathedral.
Next to the Yarra River is the art district of Melbourne with the Melbourne Ballett, different theatres and museums.
It's also very nice to have a walk beside the river. Melbourne has many trams to go around the city. One of them is free and makes one circle around the city square. We did this tour with the tram on our last day in Melbourne. There was one small street called Degraves Street where we had dinner in one of the small restaurants.
There are also some nice malls and shopping streets haha.
We also walked through China Town which is actually only one street. But I ate the cheapest sushi of my life- it was only 2$ per sushi roll!
At tuesday evening our time in Melbourne was already over and we went back to my australian home.
